Although it looks like the Pigment is in the area where you fight the bandit boss, it's actually outside the fence. Head to Stone Yield (or the Bandit Camp you need to capture to restore this settlement). There's an unharvested node of this Pigment right by the ponds! This one's easy - north of Song's Edge you'll find Banuk dyeing cloth with pigments. Follow the path leading up and away from it into the hills to find the Pigment as noted on the map below. There's a frozen pond in the west of the map where Banuk gather. This one is found on the north bank of the lake to the southwest of the settlement of Longnotch, about two thirds of the way along if travelling in a south west direction. When you come to the ladder leading up to the bridge mechanism, don't climb up immediately - continue to walk past the ladder instead, hugging the rocks on your left, and you'll find the Light Oxide pigment rock right in front of you. When travelling the Shaman's Path during the quest of the same name, you'll cross a tipping bridge, and then come to another one where you need to drop a ladder and climb down. No map for this one, as it's easy to find. Light Oxide Pigment For efficiencies sake, you might want to go over the Bluegleam locations while you're at it. Once you have the Pigment map you can go to marked location and use your Focus to spot the Pigment deposit - it's generally an unusually shaped rock. When it turns red go into cover for a few seconds to make it recharge. It absorbs every type of damage, even falling damage. This armor is extremely powerful and renders you completely invincible until it starts flashing red. In inventory open the Shield-Weaver Outfit Treasure Box and equip the armor. Insert the 5 power cells, solve the ring puzzle and take the armor. Unlocking Shield Weaver Outfit in Ancient Armory:Īfter finding all 5 Power Cell Locations head back to the Ancient Armory Bunker. When looking at the map it’s on the 1st floor in the purple area at the bottom right corner. Now that she’s grown up, one of the doors can be pried open with the spear. These are the ruins from the prologue of the game, where young Aloy fell down. If you get them during the story just follow the main quest markers and you’ll get to the areas automatically. This is especially useful for the second Power Cell on the 12th floor of Maker’s End. This makes it so you get a new waypoint every few meters to guide you through buildings. ![]() Now in Game Settings (press Options-Button) turn on “Waypoint Pathfinding”. Put a marker by pressing X at the same location as the video shows. If you have trouble reaching a location there’s an easy trick: Hover over the area on the world map and press D-Pad Down to see the different layers. The power cells have a green icon which makes them easier to spot. If you die you must pick them up again, they are not saved instantly (must reach next checkpoint). To save some time it would be best if you pick them up during the main quests. You can still free roam after beating the story and collect everything after the game ending. The missions areas are locked until you reach a certain point in the story. The Power Cells are found in mission areas but you can go back and get them later.
